On the eve of the start of the third Giro d'Italia of Intermarché-Circus-Wanty, the team is pleased to announce a new partnership with Deda Elementi. The Lombard company supports the Belgian based World Team in its quest of performance on time trial bikes, providing the brand new JET extensions and the ultimate HERO DB wheels.
Deda R&D engineers and the technical experts of Intermarché-Circus-Wanty have worked closely since last autumn to integrate the full carbon Jet extensions with the Cube time trial handlebar system before the kick off of the season. Specific CNC adapters have been developed to connect the JET extensions to the handlebar and to allow riders an infinite number of adjustments also in function of the latest changes made by the UCI for the 2023 season.
After the first significant tests with the JET extensions, the collaboration has been further extended to the supply of time trial wheels. The riders now benefit from a new superlight tubeless Hero DB wheel weighing 1.070 grams. The same products developed for Intermarché-Circus-Wanty are also available for all Cube customers through the Deda official website.

In bike fitting sessions and aero tests on the track of Amsterdam we optimized the position of all riders within the new UCI rules. Thanks to the close-fitting extensions and adapters of Deda Elementi we could find a solution approaching custom made handlebars for every rider and this for both their training and race time trial bikes. Our new cooperation with Deda Elementi enabled us to made our time trial bikes again somewhat lighter and more aerodynamic. »
