Circus-ReUz-Technord welcomes three new Belgian talents from season 2024, with the arrival of Wout Geerinckx (19 years old), William Graff (17 years old) and Victor Vercouillie (20 years old).
The Continental development team of Intermarché-Circus-Wanty reinforces the talent pool which has proven its strength from its first year of existence under the direction of Kévin Van Melsen, with at least four riders signing their first professional contract already.
Victor Vercouillie from Kortrijk has shown his power this season with several victories. The rider fo EFC-L&R – Van Mossel also distinguished himself with remarkable time trial qualities, winning the bronze medal at the Belgian U23 championship, the title of West-Flemish champion and the time trial in the Internationaal Beloften Weekend. His performances were rewarded with a trainee contract with Pro Continental team Bolton Equities Black Spoke for the end of season 2023.
Wout Geerinckx became champion of Antwerp in his first year in the U23 category and since then won two other races on hilly circuits. He made a step forward on all terrains during his second season in the category, showing himself in difficult races in the Ardennes with good results in the Tryptique Ardennais (8th) and the climbing races in Herbeumont (6th) and Romsée (15th).
William Graff from Eupen distinguished himself in internationally renowned junior races in both mountainbike and on the road. The winner of the GP Général Patton finished sixth of La Classique des Alpes and ended in the top twenty of the junior editions of the Tour of Flanders (15th) and Liège-Bastogne-Liège (20th) in the spring. At the age of 17, he will make the step up to the U23 category with Circus-ReUz-Technord this winter, following the footsteps of his future teammate Tim Rex.
